Ahmet has over 25 years of experience as a consultant and finance executive in Turkey and abroad. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various investment banking activities, including M&A transactions, debt restructuring and project finance activities.
He has extensive experience in various industries, including energy, retail, consumer products, building materials, property development, logistics and food. Prior to co-founding PCF, he held various executive roles in companies under the Qatar Sovereign Wealth Fund between 2011 and 2019.
Ahmet is also a serial entrepreneur in technology ventures in Turkey and abroad and serves on the advisory board, executive committee, and as a board member of various companies.
Bertan is a seasoned consultant and serial entrepreneur, with more than 25 years of corporate finance, strategic consultancy and financial advisory; concentrated in structured finance, turnarounds, restructuring and M&A advisory.
Specialized in middle and upper middle market companies’ access to international debt and capital markets, he has undertaken financial and business due diligence, execution and closing of both debt financing and M&A advisory transactions for clients in financial institutions, construction, retail, textile manufacturing, automotive, pharmaceutical, machinery, energy and shipping industries.
His prior and current ventures include investment banking and consultancy operations, retail chain investment, smart city solutions and payment solutions FinTech.
Throughout his 16-year banking career, Fatih worked as an economist and strategist and held managerial role in various areas under the Global Markets. As an economist, Fatih has a respected position in Turkey, and prominently featured in the print and broadcast media for many years. In his banking career, he has contributed to the widespread use of derivatives in the domestic market and made significant contributions to the financial risk management of corporate industry. His academic work in the field of early warning systems has been used by both public authorities and corporates.
Since 2016, Fatih has acted as advisor and been active in corporate boards and executive committees, both as an active member and as an advisor. His areas of expertise include debt restructuring, IPOs and alternative capital market instruments, financial risk management and as well as macroeconomic research, and also provides strategic advice on growth and sustainability.
Kadri is a seasoned corporate finance professional with over 25 years of industry experience. Throughout his career, he has assumed diverse roles within conglomerates, investment banks, and private equity firms. Kadri has actively participated in privatization projects, initial public offerings (IPOs), cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, and private equity investments.
His extensive expertise spans across multiple industries, including automotive, cement, building materials, healthcare, telecom, and retail.
Following a 20-year professional career at Turkish blue-chip companies, Kadri moved to the advisory side providing services to both Turkish and international companies, as well as private equity firms.
Furthermore, Kadri currently holds board membership positions in various private and publicly traded companies, contributing to his broad and comprehensive understanding of corporate dynamics.
Hande acted as CFO for a holding company with interests in construction, real estate, healthcare, energy and tourism for a total investment and transaction volume around USD 18 Billion over a period of 25 years. She managed portfolio and assets of group companies and run the family office across private banks and diverse asset classes, providing guidance on the assets assessment and investment processes to meet short – and long- term goals. Besides operational track record in leading the finance team, she has extensive experience in working with institutional clients and high- net worth clients, teaming up with their trust officers, tax specialists, private bankers and lawyers for coordination of wealth management activities.
Volkan has over 25 years of experience in financial risk management.
In his career, he has managed corporate financial risks such as currency, interest rate, commodity price and liquidity in various industries including manufacturing, mining and trading house
He has a deep knowledge and experience in treasury management, physical & paper trading and applying hedging tecniques in exchange related products such as base metals, energy and agriculture commodities.
With more than a decade of consulting experience, Yunus has actively participated in multitude projects specializing in M&A, IPOs, debt restructuring, and project finance.
His expertise extends to financial due diligence, complex financial modeling, valuation, and strategic roadmap development, covering diverse business sectors such as energy, infrastructure and construction, tech, automotive, food, and agriculture. Prior to joining PCF, Yunus contributed to KPMG's deal advisory for over 5 years.
Tuba started her carrier as a Foreign Operations specialist at Citibank and later worked as a finance and operations specialist in a large holding company operating in the fields of construction, real estate, health, energy and tourism for 15 years. She ensured coordination with banks and financial advisors in the management of all financial operations of the group companies and the holding. She has extensive experience in the finance team, as she leads the entire operation of the group and the process from the establishment of the ERP system to its operation.
Emre completed his undergraduate degree in Economics at Koç University in June 2022. During his studies, he undertook internships in e-commerce and marketing. After graduating, he gained experience at a portfolio management company. He joined PCF in January 2024.
Gülhan completed her undergraduate education at Boğaziçi University in June 2023, majoring in Management. Throughout her academic journey, she gained diverse internship experiences in e-commerce, venture capital, and auditing. Building upon these experiences, she joined the PCF team in January 2024.
Ahmet Taner is from Bahcesehir University, department of Management Engineering and Economics. After his internship at Acme Holding and TFI TAB Food Investments respectively, he joined the PCF in January 2024. He is a member of the finalist team of the CFA Research Challenge.
Ibrahim Ünalmış, currently serving as a Professor of Economics at Bahçeşehir University, brings a wealth of expertise to his role with eighteen years of experience at the Central Bank of Türkiye, where he served as both an economist and a director. His research spans macroeconomics and finance and explores the intricate interactions between these two fields.
Beyond academia, he extends his influence by providing consultancy services to esteemed institutions such as the World Bank and other international organizations. In addition to his academic and consultancy roles, Ibrahim Ünalmış holds board member positions within the insurance and finance sectors. He is also a regular commentator at BloombergHT financial news channel and a regular columnist at Dünya newspaper.
Figen is a Professor of Marketing and the Director of Instıtute and Head of International Trade department. She is personally involved in the design, curriculum development and quality improvement processes of many undergraduate and graduate programs. She worked as an expert or coordinator in many European Union, development agencies and public projects especially about international trade, marketing, branding, learning, sustainability and digitalization.
She has extensive private sector experience and worked at various industries with main focus on FMCG. Her research areas are marketing in sustainability in supply chain management, retail industry, health tourism, international trade, digital marketing and brand management. She is a business development specialist and brand consultant in many different fields.
